ADOPT

We only pull dogs from shelters if we have a foster or adopter. If a dog you've seen on our facebook page is not listed here, that means we are currently looking for a foster or permanent home for them before we can save their life. Thank you for supporting our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of these deserving animals.

We do require interested adopters to complete our DOG Adoption Application form or our CAT Adoption Application form online. 

Requirements:

• Please know that adopters must be at least 18 years old and have a valid, government issued ID.
• Home visits by Rosie Rescue adoption coordinators are required prior to adoption, virtually or in person. 
• Rosie Rescue reserves the right to refuse any adoption application for any reason.
• Please do not apply unless you are ready to adopt. We cannot hold any animals as it holds up our foster homes from being able to save another off the euthanasia lists. 
• We are entirely volunteer based and it may take up to 72 business hours to hear back. Repeated emails only delay us further and leaving questions blank leads to increased processing time. 
•  If returning an adopter for any reason, please give us at least two weeks to find a foster placement since we are a foster based rescue.
