We only rescue dogs from shelters when we have a committed foster or adopter. If you don’t see a dog listed here that was posted on our Facebook page, it means we’re still searching for a foster or adopter. Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us give these deserving animals a second chance!
We do require interested fosters to complete our DOG Foster Application form or CAT Foster Application form online.
📌 Please review the following requirements before applying to foster:
✔️ Age & ID Requirement – Fosters must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid government-issued ID.
✔️ Home Visit Required – A virtual or in-person home visit will be conducted by a Rosie Rescue Foster Coordinator before placement.
✔️ Application Approval – Rosie Rescue reserves the right to deny any foster application at our discretion.
✔️ Be Ready to Foster – Please only apply if you are fully ready to foster. We cannot hold animals, as this prevents us from placing more dogs in foster homes and saving others from euthanasia.
✔️ Processing Time – We are an entirely volunteer-run rescue, so it may take up to 72 hours for a response. Repeated emails slow down the process, and leaving questions blank may delay your application.
✔️ Returning a Foster Dog – If you need to return a foster dog for any reason, please allow at least two weeks for us to find a new foster placement.
🙏 Thank you for stepping up to foster—your kindness and commitment truly save lives!
